I defintely enjoyed this course. I was fairly web-naive when I started, and although I surely wouldn't consider myself an expert now, I do understand a lot more than I did. It was a lot of fun posting pictures and searching the Internet for videos, pictures, blogs, etc.
I would definitely take another on-line course, if offered. It was fun talking about this course with my co-workers!

Thing 26
I went to a German liederhosen site and put Josie's face on a dancing liederhosen. Very funny! But I couldn't figure out how to save it!

Return to Podcasts - Thing 25
I went to the ASU site and also the Denver Library site. I can see how podcasts would work extremely well in a scholastic environment. Putting lectures into a podcast (or vodcast) could be extremely useful to students who either weren't at the lecture or who would like a chance to review it. I know when I was in college many students taped the lectures for later reference - putting the class into podcast format would eliminate this.
As far a libraries...putting children's stories on the web in podcast formats is a wonderful idea. You can download the stories and save them for later if you want to. This is a great tool for getting children to listen to stories and use their imaginations.

Podcasts - Thing 24
Today I added an RSS feed to my Bloglines account after searching through a podcast directory. I thought this excercise was minimally interesting...
